Our jewelry designs mainly use a high-grade carbon neutral stainless steel as a base and is coated in recycled gold. Stainless steel is a sustainable metal that is both hypoallergenic and resistant to rust, oxidation, and discoloration but its eco-friendliness is what keeps our hearts proud. There are various levels of stainless-steel quality which is why we have selected the highest grade of metals commonly used in marine outfitting. Our Surf Jewels collection consists of both gold-filled and carbon neutral metals with fine recycled gold in 14k, 18k, and 24k depending upon the shades of sunny gold we deem fit for the style and our ever-changing moods. We use a proprietary blend of techniques to ensure that our plating process is best in class. It may take a little longer of a process for us as twice is never enough, but we believe strongly in what we do. This has resulted in our Surf Jewels collection being more 8 times durable than traditional gold-plated jewelry. Our protective layering is kept intact with simple care after exposure to ocean and pool water. We always recommend a freshwater dip and a quick pat dry for your pieces after exposure to any harsh chemicals— including ones from your hair and makeup regimes! Many of our pieces are handmade so the styles you wear are truly from our heart. We believe an active lifestyle is crucial to enjoying life. - We ship super speedy! Items usually ship in 2-4 business days, sometimes sooner! Due to illnesses and that we're a family run business, sometimes it's a bit later but that is rare. Please keep in mind business days EXCLUDE weekends and holidays.

Hey babe! While we hope you love everything you get from us, we know sometimes an item just doesn't work out! Happiness is number one around here and we're happy to offer a flexible return policy!
- Returns on unworn, unwashed items with tags still attached are accepted within 14 days of receipt of item. If you miss that deadline by a few days - no worries. We understand!
- If we smell perfume, smoke, see pet hair/ see any visible blemishes, or can tell the item has been worn, it will be returned to you at your cost and we will no longer accept returns from you. We know that won't happen though! We love our Freckled Poppy community! <3
- Returns are eligible for store credit or original payment method. We are unable to accommodate exchanges for any purchases at this time.
