Our jewelry designs mainly use a high-grade carbon-neutral stainless steel as a base and are coated in recycled gold. Stainless steel is a sustainable metal that is both hypoallergenic and resistant to rust, oxidation, and discoloration, but its eco-friendliness is what keeps our hearts proud. There are various levels of stainless-steel quality, which is why we have selected the highest grade of metals commonly used in marine outfitting. Our Surf Jewels collection consists of both gold-filled and carbon-neutral metals with fine recycled gold in 14k, 18k, and 24k, depending upon the shades of sunny gold we deem fit for the style and our ever-changing moods.

We use a proprietary blend of techniques to ensure that our plating process is the best in class. It may take a little longer a process for us as twice is never enough, but we believe strongly in what we do. This has resulted in our Surf Jewels collection being more than 8 times as durable as traditional gold-plated jewelry. Our protective layering is kept intact with simple care after exposure to ocean and pool water. We always recommend a freshwater dip and a quick pat dry for your pieces after exposure to any harsh chemicals, including ones from your hair and makeup regimes!

Freckled Poppy Warranty Exchange

All sales are final. No exchanges for sizes can be made. Our warranty includes a one-time replacement for all defects, including broken clasps, spotted tarnishing, and/or loss of stones. Anything beyond the 60-day warranty window will not be eligible for a replacement. Due to the nature of jewelry, please be sure to properly care for all surf jewels. While they are durable, they are waterproof, not indestructible.
